Dear friends, as you journey together in marriage, it’s important to remember the special bond that you share as husband and wife. Your spouse is not just a companion, but a true friend who sticks closer than a brother.
As you seek to live out your faith in your marriage, remember the importance of being there for each other, through good times and bad. Your spouse is someone you can rely on and trust, and it is important to nurture and cultivate your friendship.
So make an effort to spend time together, to communicate openly and honestly, and to support and encourage each other. Your spouse is a gift from the Lord, and as you nurture your friendship, you will build a strong foundation for your marriage and your family.
May the Lord bless your marriage and help you to be true friends to each other, sticking closer than a brother. Amen.
