Daily marriage devotionals for growing Christian marriages

These daily marriage devotionals are compiled from verses that we have shared with Christian couples in many counseling sessions over many years. Please read one per day and meditate on how it applies to your marriage. (Note: if you are not certain you are a Christian, please read The Sinner’s Prayer)

But as for me, I know that my Redeemer lives. In the end, he will stand upon the earth. (Job 19:25)

In Job 19:25, Job expresses confidence in the fact that his redeemer lives and will stand on the earth in the end. This verse reminds us of the hope and security that we have in Christ, not only as individuals, but also as a couple.

When we have confidence in the fact that our redeemer lives and that he will stand on the earth in the end, it helps to bring a sense of hope and security to our marriage. It allows us to navigate the challenges of life together with a sense of confidence and assurance.

So, how do we cultivate confidence in our redeemer in our marriage? One way is to make a habit of reading and studying the Bible together as a couple. When we seek to understand more about who Christ is and what he has done for us, it helps to build our faith and to cultivate confidence in him.

Another way is to pray together as a couple. When we bring our concerns and needs to God in prayer, it helps to bring a sense of peace and assurance to our marriage.

So, as you go about your day, remember the confidence that we have in our redeemer in our marriage. Make a habit of reading and studying the Bible together and of praying together as a couple. When you do this, it will help to bring hope and security to your relationship.

This is an ongoing labor of love because these marriage devotionals will never be finished, but we have to start somewhere, so we will update often. We appreciate your support and prayers because this is a work of God not us. And please forgive us because we have never found a verse that doesn’t apply to marriage somehow.

Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. (Proverbs 30:5)

Taking God’s biblical practice of marriage and applying it with practical techniques, Emerson Eggerichs shows how mutual Love and Respect can balance a marriage and encourage a successful relationship.
